Installation of a 2 W solar panel for automatic hen house door opener
- Assemble the solar panel with the bracket using the included screw
- Place the solar panel in the selected location and fix with the four screws provided
- Plug the power cable of the solar panel into the automatic door control unit
- Adjust the desired angle of the panel to receive as much sunlight as possible
- Then tighten the screws on the bracket

The solar panel has its own built-in rechargeable battery which, if sufficiently charged, will power the door for several days. If the battery fails to charge, AA alkaline batteries will be used as a power source. If the cable length is not sufficient to connect the solar panel to the door, it can be adjusted with a standard 5.5/2.1 mm power connector extension cable. Ensure water resistance when making the connection.
