In Spring 2022 we installed our unique Smart system for monitoring, controlling and checking electric fences from mobile phone or PC in the large area of Southern Bohemia. Experienced sheep breeder Mr. Zimmel, owner of five large fences with sheep and cattle contacted and requested us for our Smart RF devices because he wants to have his farm under control from anywhere at any time.
With longtime breeder Mr. Zimmel, especially sheep and cattle breeder, we agreed and get along with his vision – which was the installation of Smart RF fence energizers for the best possible overview of their electric fences. During one day we did control measuring of RF signal quality in a specific location together and we chose the right energizers for individual fences whose we connected after the preparation of pasture.

Mr. Zimmel is a lifetime breeder on a farm in Muckov. In the nearest neighborhood around villages Světlík and Blatná, they have other pastures with an area of about 800 ha. Their farm is focusing on sheep breeding, especially breed called Merinolandschaf. There are over 1000 sheep on this farm. Next, they care about cattle flock where are around 220 animals. The shepherd dog Kangal is the best protector for my animals from any predator“ says Mr. Zimmel on the question of how he protects his sheep and calves from wolfs.
Thanks to the position and big area of agriculture with fences located up to 8 km far away, Mr. Zimmel decided for our Modern smart farm system thanks to this he will have his electric fences under control from anywhere. In case of any failure on the electric fence or for example during unexpected gate opening and entering the electric fence, an authorized person finds out and can react immediately. We can avoid big damages thanks to this solution in time which is made by escaping animals from the safe electric fence zone or on the other hand the wolf attack on the unsafe electric fence with sheeps and calves. After every storm, we can just look to the app and we know that the electric fence is alright without any fallen trees and branches on the fence wire.
The question of a secure flock of sheep before a wolf attack as a protected animal is now more important because the conditions and recommendations which are connected to the preventive measure for protecting the flocks are more strict and complicated.
