Product´s description Electric fence generator fencee energy DUO ED100
The powerful combined generator of the fencee electric fence is specially designed for fences up to 90 km long and especially for vegetation-laden fences where maximum efficiency and reliability must be ensured.
Due to its power output of up to 10 J, it can provide sufficient voltage even in heavily grassed fences. An integrated microprocessor controls the entire operation and guarantees optimum generator performance.
The energy DUO ED100 generator is a power supply for electric fencing for all animals, including young animals such as calves and foals.
Power can be supplied via an adapter from the mains (230 V) or from anormal battery (12 V), which is mainly used as a backup source in case of power failure. Due to the higher consumption of the generators of this series, long-term operation on battery is not suitable. The length of the power cable is 1 m.
The large graphic display with control buttons clearly informs about important values on the fence.
Fencee generators with a power output of more than 5 J comply with the special requirements prescribed by the standard.
This includes a time delay for increasing the power and thus ensuring safety. The product must be marked with the symbol (hourglass). The generators have a time delay of 50 seconds.
- This means that if the fence is loaded and the resistance of the fence drops below 500 ohm (overgrown grass, fallen branch, ...), the generator will deliver a maximum of 5 J for 50 s. If during this time the resistance of the fence does not increase (removal of the cause), the generator will gradually increase the output energy (e.g. energy DUO ED 150 up to 15 J).
Another function is a warning when the fence is suddenly loaded.
- If the resistance of the fence drops suddenly from more than 1,000 ohm to less than 400 ohm during one pulse (fallen branch, entangled animal or person,...), an alarm is triggered after six pulses - an audible signal sounds and the red LED flashes. At the same time, the pulse period is slowed down to 3 s. The alarm is switched off when the resistance of the fence increases to more than 600 ohm or after a period of 10 min. Both functions are independent of each other and independent.
At the generator output there is a black ground terminal, a red terminal for connecting a full voltage fence and a yellow terminal for connecting a permanently reduced energy (half power) fence.
To find outhow to use the yellow half-power clamp, see our advice in the basic installation section.
Included:
- fencee generator
- Power adapter 14 V / 2 A
- Ground cable 150 cm (eye to eye)
- Connecting cable 100 cm (eyelet-heart)
- battery cable energy
